From No.10 to the High Street: Celebrating Small Business Saturday

This year’s Small Business Saturday has been one to remember. As part of the Small Business Saturday 100, I was honoured to be invited to No.10 Downing Street for the official campaign launch. It was an incredible experience setting up a stall in such an iconic place and hearing Margot James, Minister for Small Business, give an inspiring keynote speech celebrating the success of the UK’s 5.4 million small businesses.

With Small Business Saturday just around the corner, I’ll be keeping the celebrations going with two festive pop-ups in Edinburgh: White Stuff on George Street on Saturday 3rd December and Lululemon just a couple of blocks along on Sunday 4th. If you’re nearby, I’d love to see you!

Wherever you are, remember that every time you shop local, you’re helping to support independent, ethical businesses. Your choices make a real difference: boosting the economy, supporting communities and keeping our high streets vibrant and interesting.

Finally, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s supported JustBe and me this year. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Christmas and a healthy, fun-filled 2017.
