All aboard Small Business 100 UK Bus Tour
As one of 2016 Small Business Saturday 100, the JustBe Botanicals logo was featured on the side of the Small Business bus alongside businesses from across the country. The bus travelled to cities and towns across the UK, celebrating independent enterprise and the people behind it.
Small Business 100, is 100 inspiring independent businesses chosen to represent the very best of UK entrepreneurship.
During the stop in the Grass Market, Edinburgh, there was an opportunity to sample some of the JustBe range including herbal tea, aromatherapy chocolate and to receive a mini hand massage using the JustBe Happy hand lotion.
What Small Business Saturday Means
Small Business Saturday is one of the most significant days in the independent business calendar, an opportunity each year when the conversation shifts towards the importance of supporting local, independent and purposeful businesses.
Being part of the Small Business Saturday 100 in 2016 was the start of a meaningful relationship with the team.
Chocolate & Sara Sheridan at the National Library of Scotland
Around the same time, I had the pleasure of joining the wonderful author Sara Sheridan on stage as part of 'In Conversation With' at the National Library of Scotland, diving into the themes of her latest novel: On Scarlet Seas, a beautifully atmospheric blend of intrigue, chocolate and passion.
As it was National Chocolate Day, the timing for a conversation was about a book featuring chocolate was perfect
Sara is one of Scotland's most celebrated and prolific authors and the conversation was warm, wide-ranging and genuinely joyful. Sharing JustBe chocolate with a room full of book lovers was so much fun.
