A Proud Moment for a Women-Led Scottish Business
I'm delighted to share that JustBe Botanicals was shortlisted for the Business Women Scotland & Women's Enterprise Scotland Awards, a ceremony that celebrates the achievements and vital economic impact of women-led businesses across Scotland.

Being recognised alongside so many talented, purpose-driven women was genuinely humbling.
Watching my Mentor Win Mentor of The Year was The Highlight
Here's the thing about awards ceremonies: sometimes the most meaningful moment isn't your own name being called. Before the evening, I had nominated my mentor Jacquie Gayle for the Mentor of the Year award and at the ceremony in Glasgow on 2nd November, Jacquie won.
Watching someone you admire receive recognition for the impact they've quietly had on businesses like mine and on so many others, was the highlight of the evening.
Good mentors change things, they ask better questions, they hold up a mirror. They believe in what you're building before you fully believe in it yourself. Jacquie has been all of that for JustBe Botanicals and this award was thoroughly deserved.
On Being a Women's Enterprise Scotland Ambassador
As a proud ambassador for Women's Enterprise Scotland, I also had the honour of speaking at the Digital Women Scotland event in Edinburgh and hearing from Kate Forbes, then Scotland's Minister for the Digital Economy.
Events like these remind me that the ecosystem of women building businesses across Scotland is extraordinary and that being part of it, in any capacity, is a privilege worth protecting.
