Hey Girls - A Partnership Worth Celebrating
We've been proud to work with Hey Girls, the incredible social enterprise that operates on a buy-one-give-one model for period products - ensuring that for every product sold, one is donated to someone in need.
They chose our JustBe Loved Chocolate bars to feature in their February subscription box, a pairing that felt very right. Both brands built on the belief that kindness, care and a little joy can make a genuine difference. It was also a particular pleasure to share a Virgin Startup panel stage with Celia Pool, Hey Girls' founder, and see first-hand the impact a purpose-led business can have.
The Beginning of Something Kind
This post was originally published in February 2019 - a moment we look back on with particular fondness, because it marked the announcement of something very close to our hearts.
We were working with SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) on a brand new charitable collection: JustBe Kind. Created to encourage compassion towards ourselves and others, the Kind range launched in May 2019 during Mental Health Awareness Week. It has since raised £3,600 for SAMH and continues to give with every purchase.
