Celebrating Scotland's Finest in Beauty and Spa
A huge thank you and an even bigger congratulations to The Gin Spa, who invited me to join them at The Herald's Look Awards in Glasgow - a wonderful evening of recognition celebrating the very best in Scotland's hair, beauty and aesthetics industry.
Now in its third year at the time, the Look Awards brought together the finest independent salons, spas and beauty businesses from across Scotland. It was a genuinely joyful evening and our spa partners made it even more special by bringing home two awards.
The Award Winners in Beauty & Spa
The Gin Spa took home two awards on the night: Spa of the Year (Small–Medium) and Marketing Campaign of the Year, a double win that reflected everything we loved about working with them. Creative, passionate and deeply committed to guest experience, The Gin Spa was a genuinely unique space in the Scottish wellness landscape.
Sleeping Beauty Salon was crowned Beauty Salon of the Year (Large) for an impressive third consecutive year, a hat-trick that spoke volumes about the consistency and quality of their team.
JustBe Botanicals was proud to be associated with both of these outstanding, multi-award-winning businesses.
Partners Who Shaped the JustBe Story
The Gin Spa and Sleeping Beauty Salon were both important partners for JustBe Botanicals - professional settings where our hand-blended products were experienced as part of genuinely therapeutic treatments.
Sleeping Beauty Salon went on to offer the JustBe Wellbeing Journey across their Edinburgh, Inverness and Shetland locations for many years. And the Gin Spa with its joyful, immersive spirit and genuine passion for aromatherapy was one of the most distinctive spa experiences in Scotland. The Gin Spa sadly closed but its legacy in the JustBe story remains very much alive.
Both partnerships shaped how we think about the professional use of our products and the kind of experience we want our spa collaborations to create.
